Bravo System
Bravo pH Monitoring includes 48 hours of pH data, double the conventional test data based on catheter, increasing the capacity to document the relationship between atypical and reflux events. The 48 hours of data, allows doctors to evaluate symptoms of reflux and determine the best course of treatment.
The patient sits or lies down again, while the doctor places the capsule in the esophagus. After the capsule is in place, suction is applied, drawing a small amount of tissue in the capsule. The capsule is then locked in place. The installation procedure is simple to perform and well tolerated by most patients.
